He graduated with honours from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Tinos having as teacher the sculptor G. Maniatakos and resumed his studies at the Athens Higher Faculty of Fine Arts (ASKT), having as teachers the sculptors: Th. Panourgias, D. Kalamaras and V. Papaioanou. He has worked as a sculptor-restorer on the Acropolis of Athens restoration project (1990-1997) and then as an established official with the specialty of Sculptor (University Education 10) in the Acropolis Museum, from where he resigned in 2000. He is a member of the Chamber of Visual Arts of Greece (EETE) and he has been honoured by his colleagues as a member of juries. He is a member of the Sculptors Association of Greece, which he served as President (of the Sculptors Association of Greece) during the period 1998-2000. Since 1988 is responsible for the Fine Arts Education and founded with other colleagues the Art workshops of the Municipality of Agia Paraskevi, which had been integrated among the first (1996) in the Cities Network of Art workshops of the Ministry of Culture. As Artistic Director, manages the Art Workshops of the Ministry of Culture in the Municipality of Agia Paraskevi from 2002 to 2011. 21 scientists and Art teachers participate in the annual educational programs for about 600-800 students per year. A similar effort is being made in the Municipality of Pallini, where from 2003 to 2005 he establishes and manages as Artistic Director the Art workshop of the Spiritual and Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Pallini. He is currently an Associate Professor - member of the Teaching and Research Staff - at the Democritus University of Thrace in the Architecture - Engineering Faculty, where since 2001 he collaborates with the Art group of the University. Info: www.arch.duth.gr Info: http://www.blogeikastika.gr/ During 2011-13 becomes a co-founder and Artistic Director of the Urban Non-Profit Cultural Society “Art and Culture Workshops”, an Artistic School for the Visual Arts, Theatre, Photography, Jewellery and Theory courses on the History of Art and Civilisation with a participation of about 300 students per year. All Members and the Management Board of the company offer their services voluntarily and selflessly for the purposes of the Non-profit Cultural Society. He has held 5 Individual Exhibitions and has participated in many Group Exhibitions in Greece and abroad, mostly with the Chamber of Visual Arts of Greece (EETE) and the Sculptors Association of Greece. He has organized and participated in 13 Public and International Sculpture Symposia on major works in stone. The works exposed in these Symposia were ceded to Municipalities and other public bodies for the creation of Sculpture Parks in various parts of Greece. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, he has published an Education File for children: “... with the Faces of Art” (2006) (ISBN 960-88995-0-8) He has published the pictorial tale: “Civilisation” (2009) (ISBN 978-960-6884-15-3).
