Βιογραφικό/Faculty Bio

He was born in Komotini in 1957. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts with D. Mytaras and G. Moralis and set design with V. Vassiliadis. He has presented his work in ten solo exhibitions in Komotini, Thessaloniki and Athens and has participated in group exhibitions with other artists, mainly from Northern Greece. His works are included in private and public collections in Greece and abroad. He has worked as set and costume designer in theatrical productions mainly for the Municipal Theatre of Komotini. He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece. He taught Visual Arts as a Teacher in Secondary Education from 1987 until February 1994 when he resigned. He has been teaching Visual Arts at the Department of Architecture since 1999. He was elected Assistant Professor in 2003. He lives and works in Komotini.
